PRESIDENT - JEFF KICKLIGHTER
Jeff began his career with Seaboard Construction Company, working with the asphalt crew, in January 1991. In 1993 he transferred to the Administrative Office as a Project Manager/Estimator. Jeff has managed projects with the Georgia Department of Transportation, The Camden, Glynn and Wayne County Board of Commissions, The City of Brunswick and The City of Saint Mary’s, Georgia. He has also managed projects with the Federal Aviation Administration in construction with the Glynn County Airport Commission, The Sea Island Company, Driggers Development, LandMar Group LLC, along with many other developers in the Southeast Georgia area. Jeff was promoted to President of Seaboard Construction Company in October 2012. Background: Attended Brunswick JR. College and Southern Technical Institute. Before joining Seaboard Construction Company, Jeff worked for Glynn Construction Company for five years.
VICE PRESIDENT - CLAUDE JOHNS
Claude Johns has been with Seaboard since 1982. He started his career with the firm in plant maintenance and quickly graduated to lab technician. In 1984, Claude became assistant plant foreman and two years later was promoted to plant superintendent, a position he loyally held for 23 years since 1986. He oversees the operations of both of Seaboard’s plants; Sterling on GA HWY 99 and Whitlock in downtown Brunswick. He is a certified level 2 asphalt technician and under his leadership, Seaboard’s Sterling asphalt plant is consistently rated in the Georgia Department of Transportation’s top ten plants in Georgia. As well, in both 2007 & 2008 both the Sterling and Whitlock plant received the coveted NAPA Diamond Achievement Award. Claude was promoted to Vice President in October 2012.
VICE PRESIDENT / CHIEF ESTIMATOR - BILL FOLSOM
Bill has worked in civil/road construction for 23 years as an estimator and project manager. He joined the Seaboard Construction team in 2005 as the Chief Estimator. In his 23 years he has worked for companies such as Malphrus Construction, APAC Georgia, Yates Paving & Grading, and Carroll & Carroll. He graduated from University of Georgia with a Degree in Business, and is state certified as a competent Utility Manager. Bill was promoted to Vice President and Assistant Secretary in October 2012.
ESTIMATOR - WYATT MAXEY
Wyatt handles takeoffs on projects and organizes quotes from subcontractors. He also handles downloads and upgrades to our ftp site. Wyatt has been with Seaboard for seven years.
SAFETY MANAGER / EEO OFFICER/HR - STEVE HELMS
Steve Helms joined Seaboard Construction in 2005. Prior to coming to Seaboard Construction he was a Licensed Insurance Agent and has over 10 years experience in residential construction as a project manager. He attended the Asphalt Technology Course from NCAT (National Center for Asphalt Technology) at Auburn University in Alabama and received a Certificate of Achievement from Roadtec. He is a GDOT Certified Traffic Control Supervisor and GDOT Erosion Control Supervisor. He also possesses a Level 1A certification from the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Steve managed GDOT projects including interstate, highway and county roads. He also managed projects for Glynn County, City of Brunswick, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and private subdivisions. Steve currently holds the Safety Manager/EEO Officer/HR position, which handles training, education, and risk management.
CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT MANAGER - TOM WYATT
Tom Wyatt has been in the professional field of construction surveying for 19 years and land surveying for one year. After his first year in this field he was promoted to Party Chief and promoted again five years later to Branch Manager of a surveying company out of Southeast Georgia. Tom developed a strong reputation for quality and reliability while working as a subcontractor for Seaboard Construction, as well as many other construction companies, prior to joining Seaboard Staff in 2014. Tom was hired as an in-house surveyor and has since furthered his education with technical classes for CAD and 3D modeling. He is now head of the Surveying Department and builds 3D models for GPS machine control, as well as helping with estimating and take-offs. Tom also works hand-in-hand with some the most well-known Engineering firms in the Southeast, helping make professional and functional design changes in the field to create a smoother work flow and a better final product.
PROJECT MANAGER -
DUSTIN SCHNEDEKER
A 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University’s Civil Engineering & Construction Management program, Dustin Schnedeker got his start in the industry with Seaboard, quickly exhibiting his professionalism and promise. He handles most of Seaboard’s “New Construction” Projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation as well as other Federal Projects in the local Glynn County Area with organizations such as FLETC. He has seen many projects to completion, to the liking of the Project’s Owners, significantly ahead of schedule; including multi-million dollar construction projects on the I-95 corridor and in the local Counties around Brunswick and the Golden Isles. Dustin prides himself in pleasing Owners with superb product at or below budgeted amounts and allotted project time frames.
PROJECT MANAGER -
MAC ARNOLD
Mac is a 2016 graduate of Georgia Southern University’s Civil Engineering and Construction Management program. He started his career in 2017 with Seaboard Construction as a Project Manager Assistant, helping oversee both Georgia Department of Transportation and private work projects. In 2019, Mac took on his first solo project located in Glynn County for the Georgia Department of Transportation, and was promoted to Project Manager in 2021. Mac looks forward to gaining more experience in various project types.
