Current Job Opportunities
Seaboard works in Glynn and surrounding counties. Employees meet at the main office and ride with their crews to job sites. Normal work hours are dayshift Monday through Friday but nights and weekends may be required. All employees will fulfill the duties of their own position and any other tasks within their abilities as assigned by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.

Survey Party Chief
Three+ years construction survey experience required. Must understand concepts of grading and construction layout. TOPCON GPS and robotic systems experience required. Pay based upon experience. Applicants must possess current driver’s license.
Grading Operator
Two+ years experience required. Operates self-propelled grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, and stone, to grade specifications in construction and maintenance of earthwork structures such as highways, streets, airports, and temporary roads. Operates grader and moves levers to regulate height and angle of grader blade, lower scarifier that loosens packed soil to permit grading, and to tilt front wheels of grader when making sharp turns. Drives grader in successive passes over working area, observing reference stakes or hand signals of assisting worker to level surface to specified grade. May perform fine or rough grading. Will perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Pay is based upon experience. Applicants must possess current driver’s license.
Asphalt Distributor Operator
Two+ years experience required. Must possess current CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements. Drives the distributor/tack truck to spray tack, preparing the surface for paving. May work behind the paver with shovel or asphalt rake, as needed, when not operating the distributor. Will perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Pay is based upon experience. Applicants must possess current driver’s license.
Traffic Control Crewman
No experience required. Part of a construction team that diverts traffic from the work area; expected to help control traffic and assist with the construction project. Help create a safe work zone ensuring traffic stays out of the way of the workers. Will set up traffic cones and safety barriers as well as flag traffic. Must be constantly aware of both construction and traffic activity. Pay is based upon experience.
Laborer
No experience required. Will perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects, perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving. May shovel bituminous concrete (asphalt) into construction area, fine grade fill to grades given by foreman, assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix. Excavate and fills trenches and ditches. Maintain a clean job site (pick up all tools, equipment, & secure job site each day) to eliminate potential hazards. Pay is based upon experience.
